What is a Class Code, Why Do I Need One, and How Do I Get One?
- Class codes are a series of random letters and numbers, auto-generated by the system when a teacher sets up a new class under a course, and displayed on the dashboard.
- Class codes are used by students to self-enroll in a specific teacher's class (first period, personal finance, fall semester, for example).
- If students are manually enrolled by the teacher they will not need a class code.
- Once a student is enrolled or has joined a class, the class code will NOT have to be entered again. It is a one-time-use code that connects the student to a specific teacher's class. After logging in, the student will simply click the Foundations course logo below where it says, "My Courses."
